Let's go wild in the water!

Opened in 2011, this iconic London 2012 legacy venue offers everyone the chance to get on the water whether you want raging white water rapids or the calmer lake environment.

Lee Valley White Water Centre offers a whole host of different activities from white water rafting, kayaking and canoeing, Hydrospeeding to Hot Dog kayaking, paddleboarding as well as Aqua Splash our inflatable obstacle course on the lake. Get the perfect gift for the thrill seekers in your life and treat them to unforgettable day out with an experience gift voucher.

There's also a café and bar onsite, which is a great spectator spot for those looking to get up close the action but who don’t want to get their hair wet.

Lee Valley White Water Centre is a great location for team building days, an inspirational setting for meetings and the venue can also be hired for filming opportunities.

This venue is operated by Better on behalf of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.

Grants funding visits for groups, schools and communities

We know that some people and groups may find it hard to afford the activities that Lee Valley Regional Park offers. We have two programmes which we hope help remove these barriers:

  • Community Access Fund: offering free access or travel to the park's venues or services

  • Communities Grant Scheme: provides financial assistance for long term projects

Opening up paddlesports to new audiences

Since London 2012 we've been working hard to ensure this venue delivers a legacy - both to the local community as well as to sporting fans and elite athletes. Find out how we've how we've reached new audiences and support local talent.
