Green spaces in the park 

Bow Creek Ecology Park

Escape the city on this little green island, just a short walk from Canning Town station

Cornmill Meadows

A mystical meadow where you can see dragonflies darting over the water

Fishers Green

A hub in the middle of River Lee Country Park with sculptures to find, wildlife to see and trails

Hooks Marsh

Hooks Marsh is perfect for nature lovers who are fascinated by waterfowl with multiple lakes

Pindar

Close to Cheshunt station this is a great spot to escape the city, with watersports and YHA on site

Rye Meads Nature Reserve

This stunning nature reserve is run by RSPB and is close to Rye House Gatehouse

Turnford Brook

With wonderful waterbodies, wildlife to watch and picnic benches this is a great place to get away from it all

Wildlife Discovery Centre

Nestled in Fishers Green you'll find this state of the art hide with a Discovery Room and tower giving you a view over Seventy Acres Lake

Broxbourne Riverside

A large grassy area by the river where you can enjoy a riverside lunch

Dobbs Weir

Pack full with walking routes and waterways to explore with a campsite near by

Glen Faba

A short walk from Dobbs Weir, you'll find this secluded area of grassland and reedbeds

Middlesex Filter Beds

Come and see this 19th century water filteration system turned nature reserve

Rammey Marsh

Wildlife such as Water voles, Bee Orchids and Pipistrelle bats can all be spotted

Sewardstone

Explore this woodland area of the park on the edge of London with a campsite nearby

Walthamstow Marshes

Discover the different wildlife and habitats in the capital in this wonderful open space

Clayton Hill

Take in the sights of the park from the top of this stunning viewpoint over the Lee Valley

East India Dock Basin

The furthest southern point in the park where you can enjoy views over the Thames to the O2

Gunpowder Park

This former MOD site in now a wonderful open space with paved routes and varied habitiats

Nazeing Meads

Watersports, fisheries and wildlife are a 10 minute walk from Dobbs Weir

River Lee Country Park

1,000 acre park crossing over Essex and Hertfordshire packed full of fun, flora and fauna

Tottenham Marshes

An urban escape in the heart of Tottenham with passionate community groups
