This is a fantastic opportunity for students to visit Lee Valley Ice Centre following its regeneration and subsequent reopening in 2023.

Pupils have the opportunity to focus on their senses, work in teams, observe the Park’s wildlife and use natural artefacts to introduce mindfulness and wellbeing techniques. Investigate the wildlife that call the area home by delving into the hidden world of London’s minibeasts.

Session covers: Working scientifically to observe land invertebrates including habitat requirements; gathering and recording information; awareness of mindfulness and wellbeing, exploring and developing ideas and understanding of the natural world.
